Module 3: The Three-Step Framework
The simple system behind every content business: create the pillar piece, distribute it everywhere it matters, convert the attention into customers. Simple to say, powerful to run.

Step 1 — Create the pillar
Every cycle starts with one pillar piece: the spectacular, definitive, 10x piece from Modules 1 and 2. Not five thin posts — one pillar. The pillar is the asset everything else points to. It ranks on search, gets linked, gets shared, and carries your best thinking.
A pillar piece has a job description: attract strangers (search-friendly topic, clear headline), prove your authority (depth, originality, proof), and convert readers (a natural next step — your email list, your offer). If a piece can't do all three, it's not a pillar — it's a post. Pillars are rare on purpose: one a month is plenty.
Build pillars around questions your customers actually ask, validated by the brainstorming you've done. Give each pillar a working title before you write a single word — if the title does not make you want to read it, the pillar will not make anyone else want to either. One pillar a month beats thirty posts a month — because the pillar has a job and the posts are just busy.

Pick your next pillar topic. Write the headline and the one conversion it will drive (email signup? which offer?).

Step 2 — Distribute everywhere
Creating the pillar is half the work. Distributing it is the other half — and it's the half most people skip. A pillar sitting on your blog with no distribution is a billboard in the desert. Distribution means deliberately pushing the piece into every channel where your audience already hangs out.
The manual method: slice the pillar into native pieces for each channel. The key stat becomes a social post. The framework becomes a short video script. The best section becomes a newsletter issue. The whole thing becomes a slide deck. One pillar becomes ten distribution assets — each one linking back to the pillar. You're not creating ten times the content; you're distributing one piece ten ways.
Prioritize channels by where your buyers actually are, not where it's trendy to be. Two channels done well beat five done thin. Create once, distribute ten times — the pillar earns its keep in distribution.

Step 3 — Convert the attention
Attention without conversion is a hobby. Every pillar needs a conversion path: the reader finishes, and there's a clear, natural next step. Usually that's your email list first (a related lead magnet or newsletter signup), then your offer later. Never let a spectacular piece end with nothing.
The conversion has to match the content's promise. A pillar about pricing strategy converts to a pricing audit offer, not a generic 'contact us.' The closer the next step matches what the reader just learned, the higher it converts. Map one conversion per pillar before you publish — if you can't name it, the pillar isn't ready.
Then measure: how many email signups did this pillar drive? How many became customers? This is how you learn which topics make money, not just traffic. Traffic is vanity; signups are sanity; customers are reality. Convert the attention or it's just applause.

Jordan published a definitive guide that got 10,000 readers but zero email signups and zero sales. What broke?
Your turn: Fill the framework for your next pillar: CREATE (topic + headline) → DISTRIBUTE (5 channels/formats) → CONVERT (the one next step). One page, all three steps.
Saved.
Your next 24 hours
Take your pillar topic and write the full three-step plan: the headline, 5 distribution slices with channels, and the one conversion. If any step is blank, the pillar isn't ready.

2. DISTRIBUTE — 5 slices: ___
3. CONVERT — One next step: ___
Publish only when all three are filled.
