Fluent Collective
Terms of Use
Last updated October 21, 2026
These terms cover your use of fluent.spot — the website, the courses platform, and everything on them. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Your account
Courses are free with an account. When you sign up, give us accurate information and keep your password to yourself — what happens under your account is your responsibility. One account is for one person. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
The courses
Every course is educational. We work to keep the content accurate and current, and we may update, add, or remove lessons and whole courses over time. Finishing a course means you worked through its lessons and met the completion requirements shown on the platform.
Some courses teach career skills — how people get hired or find clients as social media managers, editors, writers, and similar roles. They teach skills and show how the work is actually done. They are not job offers, and we don't guarantee anyone a job, clients, or income. What you earn with these skills depends on your work, your market, and a lot of things outside our control.
Earn program terms
We run an earn program on the courses platform: finish courses, pass exams, and earn $50 per course toward our done-for-you services. These are the full rules.
- You need a free Fluent Collective account to earn.
- Exams unlock after you finish 3 courses.
- Earning is opt-in. Nothing is earned by an exam until you've turned earning on.
- For each course, you earn by finishing the course and then passing that course's short exam.
- You earn $50 per completed-and-passed course, added to your earn balance. It's one award per course, per person.
- Your balance applies only toward done-for-you services from Fluent Collective, and it can cover at most 20% of any single service's price.
- The balance has no cash value. It can't be withdrawn, transferred, assigned, or exchanged for anything else.
- We can correct or reverse an award that was made by mistake or obtained by breaking these terms.
- Fluent Collective may change or end the program. If we do, we'll give notice on the site or by email.
Certificates
When you finish a course, you can get a certificate with a verification code. A certificate attests that the named person completed that course on our platform — nothing more. It isn't a degree, a license, or an accredited credential, and anyone can check a code on our verification page to confirm a certificate is genuine.
Acceptable use
Use the site honestly. That means: don't misrepresent your coursework or exam results, don't try to game the earn program, don't interfere with the site or other people's accounts, don't copy and redistribute course content, and don't use the site for anything unlawful. If someone breaks these rules, we can suspend or remove their account and any earn balance obtained through the violation.
Intellectual property
The site, the courses, and everything we publish on them — text, lessons, illustrations, and design — belong to Fluent Collective or the people who licensed them to us. Your account gives you personal access to learn from the material; it doesn't give you the right to copy, resell, or republish it. What you create with what you learn — your own posts, your portfolio, your client work — is yours. Work we do for clients under a services engagement is governed by that engagement's contract, not by these terms.
Done-for-you services
Prices shown on the site are the listed prices for each service. A services engagement starts when both sides agree to it in writing, and its scope, deliverables, and payment terms live in that agreement. These terms don't replace a client contract.
Limitation of liability
The site and courses are provided "as is." We work hard to keep everything running and accurate, but we can't promise the site will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, Fluent Collective isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on course content, and our total liability for any claim connected to the site is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, for the free courses, is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site changes. The current version always lives on this page with its date at the top, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and any dispute connected to them will be handled in the courts there.
