Start here: how this course works

Five minutes now saves you hours later. Read this first, then dive into Module 1.

What you'll learn

This course turns you from someone who glances at traffic graphs into someone who knows exactly which marketing produces customers. You'll set up Google Analytics 4 correctly, connect Google Search Console, tag every campaign with UTMs, track the conversions that matter — calls, forms, purchases — and build a one-page monthly report you'll actually read.

There are seven modules. Each one is short: three lessons, a quiz, and build brief prompts where you apply the ideas to your own business. Most people finish in about two hours, spread over a few sittings. You don't need any technical background — if you can copy and paste, you can do all of this.

How to use this course

Work through the modules in order — each one builds on the last. Read a lesson, mark it complete for XP, take the quiz to lock in the concept. Don't skip the build brief prompts: they're where the course stops being theory and starts being about your business. Your answers collect into a document you can download as a PDF at the end.

Do the setup as you go. When Module 2 tells you to install GA4, open another tab and install it. When Module 4 covers UTMs, tag a real campaign. Learning analytics by reading alone is like learning swimming by reading — get in the water.

What you'll have at the end

A working measurement system: GA4 tracking the right events, Search Console showing what Google sees, every campaign tagged so you know what works, and a monthly report that answers the only question that matters — where should I invest next? Plus a completed build brief documenting every decision, ready to hand to an expert if you ever want this done for you.

One warning: analytics rewards the patient. Your data gets more useful every week it collects. Set it up now, even imperfectly — a month from now you'll be glad you started today.

What will this course teach you to answer with your data?
