Glossary: Content Creation Systems
Every key term from the course, in plain English. When a lesson says a word you don't know, it lives here.
- The Pillar Matrix
- Your content pillars (rows) crossed with four post types — story, lesson, opinion, proof (columns). Pick any cell and you have a post: 4 pillars × 4 types = 16 combinations, reusable indefinitely.
- The Batch Session
- One focused 2-hour block producing a full week of content: 15 minutes of prep, 60 minutes of drafting, 30 minutes of polishing, 15 minutes of scheduling. Run from the idea bank, never from zero.
- The Content Multiplier
- The repurposing chain turning one strong idea into five format-native pieces: core post, carousel, newsletter section, short video, discussion seed. Two ideas a week × five formats = ten pieces.
- Content Pillar
- One of your 3–5 core themes — a territory you can write 50 posts in, not a single topic. Chosen at the overlap of what you know deeply, what people ask about, and what leads to revenue.
- Post Type
- The four muscles in the Pillar Matrix: Story (something that happened), Lesson (something you know), Opinion (something you believe), Proof (something you can show).
- Idea Capture
- The reflex of recording every idea within 10 seconds into one inbox. Capture first, judge later — filtering happens at the weekly review, not the moment of capture.
- Swipe File
- Your organized idea bank: every captured idea tagged by pillar in one searchable place. The raw material the batch session draws from.
- The Idea Bank
- The count of developed, tagged ideas in your swipe file. The 30-idea rule: never let it drop below 30 — roughly six weeks of buffer.
- Batching
- Producing content in one focused block instead of scattered sessions. Pays the setup tax once, eliminates switching costs, and reaches creative momentum around minute 40.
- Repurposing
- Translating one idea across formats — not copy-pasting, but reshaping each version into its format's native shape. Spaced over 2–3 weeks with angle shifts to avoid repetition.
- Content Calendar
- One spreadsheet tab, four columns: Date, Pillar, Format, Status. Answers 'what's publishing today?' in three seconds. Filled during the Sunday 10-minute check.
- Minimum Viable Week
- The smallest output you'll sustain in your worst week (usually 2–3 posts), designed in advance and backed by a pre-written floor kit. What keeps the streak alive when motivation is dead.
- The Compounding Curve
- The three-month arc of a new system: month one is crickets (measure output only), month two brings signals, month three brings momentum. Most creators quit in month one by judging it with month-six standards.
- Engagement Fuel
- Using comments, DMs, and replies as idea sources — every question is a post, every objection is a post. Your audience literally tells you what to create next.
