Getting paid is a system you design, not a button you paste in on launch day. In this module you will see how money actually moves — cards, bank transfers, and wallets — and map the pipeline you are going to build across this course.
Module 1
Module 1: Choose Your Processor
Stripe, Square, PayPal, and the rest all move money, but they charge differently, verify differently, and fit different businesses. This module gives you the real fee math and a setup walkthrough so you pick once and pick right.
Module 2
Module 2: Stripe Deep Dive
This is the technical core: the dashboard, API keys, test mode, the Products and Prices API, and webhooks with signature verification. By the end you will have working test-mode code that creates products and listens for payment events.
Module 3
Module 3: Checkout Flows
Your checkout is where money actually changes hands. There are three ways to take a card payment on Stripe — hosted Checkout, no-code Payment Links, and a fully custom build with Stripe Elements. Each one has a precise cost profile: speed of setup vs control over branding vs conversion tuning. This module shows you how to pick, how to build each, and how to handle the hard parts: 3D Secure, wallets, and mobile conversion.

Module 4: Subscriptions and Invoicing
Recurring revenue is the engine of most online businesses — and Stripe's billing engine is where the sharp edges live: trials, proration, metered usage, invoice states, dunning, and the difference between canceled, paused, and past due. Get these right once and they run silently for years. Get them wrong and you bleed revenue through silent churn you never see.

Module 5: Operations and Protection
Taking payments is the fun part. Keeping the money — handling disputes, issuing refunds without wrecking your margins, reconciling payouts, charging tax correctly, and staying on the right side of PCI compliance — is what separates a real business from a hobby with a checkout button. This module is the operations manual.
