Weeks 1–4: foundation

Month one is pure foundation — no direct asks at all. Week 1: pick your one primary platform and your two strongest give types from Module 2. Build your give inventory (Module 2's worksheet) until you have 20 solid ideas. Week 2: publish your first 5 gives and reply to every single comment within the hour.

Weeks 3–4: settle into rhythm — 3–5 gives per week, batched on one day. Start your signal tracking (saves, shares, profile taps). By day 30 you should have 15–20 deposits posted, a feel for which give types resonate, and your first strangers engaging. The ledger is open and filling.

Your 90-day give-first plan

  1. Weeks 1–4

    Foundation

No direct asks at all — 20 deposits in 30 days.

  2. Weeks 5–8

    Rhythm and first earned asks

Soft asks enter; the first direct ask only when pull signals show.

  3. Weeks 9–12

    Scale what works

Make more of what landed, in more places.

Weeks 5–8: rhythm and first earned asks

Month two systematizes what worked. Double down on your best-performing give type, drop or fix the weakest, and lock the weekly rhythm into your calendar as a non-negotiable appointment. This is also when soft asks enter: "I share one of these every week — follow along," riding on posts that are already performing.

Around week 6–8, check for pull signals: DMs asking questions, comments asking "do you offer this?", saves climbing. If they're there, make your first direct ask — one clear action, framed as the natural next step, using the checklist from Module 4. If the signals aren't there yet, that's information: another month of deposits, and diagnose with Module 6.

Run your first monthly review at day 60. Three decisions, one page: double down, fix or drop, set next month's asks.

Build brief

What are your concrete 30, 60, and 90-day milestones for this plan? (e.g. "20 posts published," "first 100 saves," "first earned ask made.")

Weeks 9–12: scale what works

Month three is about leverage. You now know which gives land — so make more of them, in more places. Take your top 5 performing posts and adapt each natively to a second platform. Turn your best teach post into a carousel, your best story into a short video, your best thread into a YouTube tutorial.

This is also when the 7:1 rhythm becomes automatic: weekly gives on schedule, a direct ask every two to three weeks, the ledger review on the first of the month. If a launch or promotion is coming, plan it as a deliberate withdrawal followed by a deliberate refill — announce the refill in advance so the audience sees the rhythm, not just the selling.

At day 90, zoom out: compare your three signals to day 1, count the customers or leads the system produced, and decide the next quarter's focus. Most businesses discover the same thing at this point — the giving got easier, the asking got easier, and the whole thing runs on a few hours a week.
