← How to Run Ads

Module 0: Start Here

Before you dive in — how this course works, what you'll build, and how to get the most out of every module.

What You'll Learn

By the end of this course you'll be able to set up, launch, and read your own ad campaigns on Meta and Google — without an agency, without guessing, and without burning money on the classic beginner mistakes. You'll install tracking before you spend a dollar, define exactly who sees your ads, write creative that earns the click, launch with a sane budget, and read the numbers well enough to know what to fix.

This is the manual way: you'll understand what every setting does and why it matters, so when something underperforms you diagnose it instead of panicking or pausing everything.

How to Use This Course

Three lessons per module, six modules in order. Mark lessons complete for XP, take the quizzes, and answer the build brief prompts — they'll ask about your business, your offer, your budget, and your customer. Those answers become a PDF brief you can hand to a freelancer or agency later, or use to run everything yourself.

One rule: don't spend real money until you finish Module 2 (tracking). Running ads without conversion tracking is flying blind — you'll have numbers, but none of them will tell you what worked. Every module builds on the last, so go in order even if you're tempted to jump to the fun part.

Budget Reality Check

You don't need thousands to learn. Most students start with $10–20/day on one platform while they learn the system — that's $300–600 for a meaningful first month of data. The course teaches you how to read that data so the second month spends smarter.

What you do need: a working website or landing page (the ads have to send people somewhere), a clear offer, and the patience to let campaigns run 3–5 days before judging them. If you kill every ad after 48 hours, you'll never learn what works.

What's the one rule this course gives you before you spend any money on ads?
