Everyone starts at zero followers. The question is whether you survive the quiet months. This roadmap takes you from finding a lane you can live in, through the 30-Video Rule and the Proof Ladder, to the runway math that tells you when you can go full-time. Seven modules. No shortcuts, no viral prayers — just the sequence that actually works.

What you’ll learn

  • Pick a lane you can live in using the 100-Video Question
  • Turn your profile into a conversion page that turns viewers into followers
  • Climb the Proof Ladder with 30-video runs and strategic free work
  • Survive the quiet months and build the trust ladder that leads to paid work

Is this for me?

Who is this course for?

Anyone who wants to become a creator and doesn't know where to start — or started, posted ten videos, watched nothing happen, and quit. This is the map for the second attempt.

What do I need before starting?

Nothing but a phone and something you're willing to talk about for 100 videos. That's literally the 100-Video Question in Module 1 — if you can't answer it, the course helps you find the answer.

How long does it take?

Seven modules of learning, a few weeks at a comfortable pace. But the roadmap itself plays out over months. The quiet months aren't a detour — they're Module 5, and they're in the plan.

Module 0

Module 0: Start here

What this course is, how to use it, and what you'll walk away with. Ten minutes now saves hours later.

Module 1: Find a lane you can live in — Creator Roadmap

Module 1

Module 1: Find a lane you can live in

Everything downstream — your handle, your content, your income — depends on picking the right lane. This module makes sure you pick one you can sustain for years, not weeks.

Module 2: Profiles that turn viewers into followers — Creator Roadmap

Module 2

Module 2: Profiles that turn viewers into followers

A viral video is worthless if the profile it leads to doesn't convert. This module builds a profile that tells a new viewer exactly what they'll get and why they should stay.

Module 3: Study the field before you play — Creator Roadmap

Module 3

Module 3: Study the field before you play

You don't need original ideas to start — you need studied ones. This module shows you how to research your niche like a strategist, so your first videos borrow proven structures instead of guessing.

Module 4: Formats that carry beginners — Creator Roadmap

Module 4

Module 4: Formats that carry beginners

You don't need to invent a format — you need to pick proven ones that fit your personality and run them until they're yours. This module hands you the starter set.

Module 5: Publish and survive the quiet months — Creator Roadmap

Module 5

Module 5: Publish and survive the quiet months

The first months are quiet for everyone. This module builds a publishing system you can sustain and a sane way to read your numbers while you wait for momentum.

Module 6: Free work that pays later — Creator Roadmap

Module 6

Module 6: Free work that pays later

Nobody pays a creator with no proof. This module shows you how to manufacture proof with strategic free work — and convert it into your first paid deals.

Module 7: Getting paid and going full-time — Creator Roadmap

Module 7

Module 7: Getting paid and going full-time

Proof in hand, it's time to charge. This module covers the pitch, the pricing, and the honest math of when you can finally do this full-time.

Choose your track

Not everyone needs the same path. Pick the one that fits where you are.

Starter track

Modules 0–4: lane, profile, research, formats, publishing. That builds the foundation — who you are, where you show up, what you make, and the system to keep making it. Save Modules 5–7 (free work, pitching, full-time math) until you have 30+ videos live.

Advanced track

All seven modules in order, plus the teardown and the final exam. The advanced work is Module 6's strategic free work: three targeted free projects that manufacture the proof Module 7's pitch needs. Then run the runway math honestly.

Teardown: a fitness creator's monetization path

She started in 2022 filming apartment workouts with zero followers. By 2024 she had 180k followers and a $12k/month coaching business. The interesting part isn't the numbers — it's the sequence, which follows Modules 1–7 almost exactly, including the parts most creators skip.

Lane (Module 1): not "fitness" — "strength training for women over 40 who've never lifted." Specific person, specific outcome, and a lane she could live in for years because it was her own story. The 100-video question ("could I make 100 videos about this without getting bored?") was obviously yes.

Profile (Module 2): her bio reads "Strong after 40 💪 | 3x/week, no gym required | 180k women lifting" — who, what, how often, proof, in one line. Early on it was "Helping women over 40 get strong | New videos MWF" — same structure, smaller proof. The profile converted because it answered "why follow" in five seconds.

Formats (Module 4): she ran exactly two formats for the first year: "one dumbbell, one exercise, 30 seconds" demos and "what I wish I knew at 40" talking heads. Both are beginner-carrying formats — low production, high repetition, endlessly remixable. She didn't invent either; she studied what worked in her niche and executed relentlessly.

The quiet months (Module 5): months 2–5 averaged 400 views per video. She kept the 3x/week cadence because the system was sustainable — 30-minute films, phone edits — not because the numbers justified it. Most creators quit here. The system, not motivation, carried her.

Proof then pay (Modules 6–7): at 30k followers she started doing free form-checks via DM — strategic free work that manufactured proof (testimonials, before/afters, transformation stories). At 80k she launched a $97/month coaching program with a waitlist of people she'd already helped for free. The pitch was easy because the proof was public. The pricing math worked because she'd done Module 7's honest calculation: she needed 130 members at $97 to replace her salary, and the waitlist had 400.

The lesson: the roadmap isn't inspirational — it's mechanical. Lane → profile → formats → volume → proof → pay. Skip a step and the later steps wobble. She skipped none.
