Sales Funnels
By the end of this course you will be able to design, build, and run a complete sales funnel by hand: a lead magnet that attracts buyers, a landing page that converts, an email sequence that sells, and the testing routine that keeps improving it.

Traffic without a funnel is a leaky bucket. Six modules: capture, nurture, convert — the full path from stranger to customer, built step by step. Every visitor either buys or leaves an email. Nobody just leaves.
What you'll learn
- Map a complete funnel for your business — every step from stranger to customer, on one page.
- Create a lead magnet people actually want and drive traffic to it.
- Build landing pages that convert: headline, proof, offer, and form in the right order.
- Write follow-up emails that sell, then test and tighten each step until the math works.
Is this for me?
Who is this course for?
Anyone getting traffic that doesn't convert — or anyone about to spend on ads who wants the funnel ready before the clicks arrive.
What do I need before starting?
Something to sell and a way to take payment. A landing page builder helps — many have free tiers to start on.
How long does it take?
Six modules at 30–45 minutes each. Your first full funnel takes about two weeks to build alongside the course.

Module 0: Start Here
Get oriented before you build anything: what you’ll learn, how the course works, and what you’ll walk away with.

Module 1
Module 1: Funnel Fundamentals
A funnel is simply the path a stranger walks to become a customer, designed on purpose instead of left to chance. This module gives you the mental model: the stages every funnel has, the math that tells you if yours works, and how to map your first one on paper before you build anything.

Module 2
Module 2: Lead Magnets and Traffic
Nobody hands over their email address for "join our newsletter." This module covers how to create a lead magnet people genuinely want, where to put it so the right people see it, and how to drive your first traffic without a big ad budget.

Module 3
Module 3: Landing Pages That Convert
Your landing page has exactly one job: convert visitors into leads. This module covers the anatomy of a high-converting page, how to write each section by hand, and the design principles that keep visitors focused on the single action you want.

Module 4
Module 4: Email Follow-Up That Sells
The email address is where the real selling happens — most buyers need multiple touches before they purchase. This module builds your welcome sequence by hand: the emails to send, the stories to tell, and how to ask for the sale without sounding desperate.

Module 5
Module 5: Offers and Conversion
Traffic and emails mean nothing if the offer doesn't convert. This module covers how to structure offers people say yes to: pricing psychology, risk reversal, objection handling, and the order bump and upsell mechanics that raise average order value.

Module 6
Module 6: Test and Optimize
No funnel launches perfect — the winners are built through testing. This module gives you a practical optimization routine: what to test first, how to run simple A/B tests by hand, and when your funnel is ready to scale with paid traffic.
Choose your track
Two ways through this course — pick the one that matches where you are.
Starter track
New to funnels? Do Module 0, then Modules 1, 3, and 4 in order. Module 1 gives you the mental model and the paper sketch, Module 3 gets your landing page converting, and Module 4 builds the welcome sequence that does the selling. That’s a complete working funnel — come back to Modules 2, 5, and 6 once it’s live.
Advanced track
Done the basics before? Move fast through Module 1 as a refresher, then go deep on Modules 5 and 6 — offer architecture and the testing routine are where experienced builders find their biggest wins. Finish with the teardown below, the glossary for precision, and the final exam to certify it.

Teardown: the classic “Free Masterclass” funnel
You’ve seen this funnel a hundred times: an ad promises a free masterclass that reveals a secret system, the landing page collects your email, and over the next week you get a barrage of emails pushing a $997 course with bonuses that expire at midnight. Let’s take it apart using what this course teaches — because it’s both brilliantly engineered and full of lessons in what not to copy.
What it does well: the lead magnet is perfectly matched to the buyer — a free training that delivers one genuine insight while opening a gap only the paid course fills. The landing page has exactly one job and does it: headline with a specific outcome, three bullets, an opt-in form, nothing else. No navigation, no distractions. The email sequence follows the desire-building arc from Module 4 almost to the letter: story, proof, objection handling, then the offer.
Where it leaks: the math only works at scale. These funnels typically convert 1–3% of registrants, which means they need enormous — and expensive — traffic to survive. The artificial scarcity (“cart closes at midnight, bonuses vanish forever”) is the weakest kind of urgency: it works once, then trains the audience to distrust every deadline you ever set. And the biggest leak is one this course warns about in Module 1: there’s no real relationship being built. The entire sequence is extraction with a smile.
What to steal: the discipline of one job per step. The ad only earns the click. The page only earns the email. Each email does exactly one thing — tell a story, show proof, handle one objection. Map any funnel you build with that same ruthlessness and it will outperform a cleverer funnel that asks each step to do three jobs.
What to leave: the fake deadlines and the pressure-cooker tone. You can create genuine urgency — a real cohort start date, a genuinely limited number of onboarding slots — without lying to people. A funnel built on trust converts slower at first and compounds forever; a funnel built on pressure spikes once and burns the list. Build the kind you’d be proud to show your customers.
