Build Better Habits

Motivation gets you started; systems keep you going. By the end of this course you'll have designed a personal habit system — your three core values, your purpose alignment, your daily choices, your inputs, and your gratitude practice — so good habits become the default instead of the exception.

Every year you make the same resolutions and every year they fade by February. The problem was never your willpower — it was that you had no system. In six modules you'll build one: three core values, a purpose that pulls you forward, intentional routines, curated inputs, and a gratitude practice that keeps you going when life gets loud.

What you’ll learn

  • Define your 3 core values and run every decision through the Values Filter
  • Align your habits with your purpose using the passions inventory and your natural profile
  • Run the Sensory Audit to find which inputs are feeding your state and which are poisoning it
  • Start a gratitude practice that builds self-belief through the Gratitude Loop

Is this for me?

Who is this course for?

Anyone who keeps "starting over" — the person who reads productivity books, starts strong for a week, then slides back. If you've ever blamed your willpower, this course is your reset button. No fitness level, no experience, no perfect life required.

What do I need before starting?

A notebook or notes app and fifteen minutes a day. This isn't a bootcamp and there's no diet or workout plan — it's a system for making good habits stick by redesigning what's around them.

How long does it take?

Six modules, about 30–45 minutes each of learning. The real work is the daily practice in Module 5 — most people feel the shift inside two weeks and have a working system by day thirty.

Choose your track

Not everyone needs the same path. Pick the one that fits where you are.

Gentle track

Modules 0–1 first, then one module a week. The Values Filter alone changes how you decide — give it room to settle before adding more. No rushing, no streak pressure, no starting over.

Steady track

All modules in order, one every three days. Do the daily practice from Module 5 as you go, run the Sensory Audit weekly, and let the system layer itself in one pillar at a time.

Reset track

All six modules in five days — the full reset. Values on day one, purpose on day two, routines on day three, inputs on day four, gratitude on day five. Then the daily practice keeps it alive.

Teardown: one weak routine, one strong routine

The weak routine: alarm at the last possible minute, phone in bed for twenty minutes, coffee and out the door, reactive all day. Every choice is made by mood and urgency. By noon this person has made zero intentional decisions — their day is happening to them. When motivation dips on Wednesday, the whole thing collapses because there was no structure underneath, just willpower and a good mood on Monday.

The strong routine: alarm with the phone across the room, five minutes of stillness, three gratitudes written down, one line on what today is for. Then the Values Filter on the calendar — anything that doesn't serve one of three values gets moved or cut. Same twenty-four hours, same person, same life. The difference is that every choice has a filter: values decide, moods don't.

Notice what the strong routine does NOT have: no 5 a.m. wake-up, no ice baths, no two-hour morning routine. It's about eleven minutes. The strong routine works because it's small enough to repeat on a bad day — and Module 3's whole point is that the system has to survive your worst Tuesday, not your best Monday.

What most people would get wrong: they'd copy someone else's elaborate routine from a video and wonder why it lasted four days. The routine isn't the point — the filter is. Three values, eleven minutes, and the Sensory Audit in Module 4 to keep the inputs clean. That's the system. Everything else is decoration.

The lesson: a weak routine asks "how do I feel today?" A strong routine asks "what do my values need today?" Same person, same hours — one question changes everything. That's what the five pillars build, one module at a time.
