Every ad you run stops working the day you stop paying. Content compounds. In seven modules you'll build a topic pipeline, write posts that rank and get read, and set up a distribution system that multiplies every article — attention you own, not rent.

What you'll learn

  • Define what your blog is actually for — audience, goal, and content angle — before you write a single word.
  • Generate a pipeline of topics in one afternoon using four manual research methods, so you never stare at a blank page again.
  • Write posts with the structure, headlines, and on-page basics that get them read and ranked.
  • Build a distribution checklist for every post and a respectful outreach habit that multiplies your best content's reach.

Is this for me?

Who is this course for?

Anyone who can write a clear paragraph and wants customers to find them through search and sharing — founders, freelancers, marketers.

What do I need before starting?

Basic writing ability and somewhere to publish — a website or blog. You don't need an audience yet; that's what the content builds.

How long does it take?

Seven modules at 30–45 minutes each, plus writing time. Plan on two to three weeks, writing as you go.

Module 0: Start Here

Get oriented before you build anything: what you’ll learn, how the course works, and what you’ll walk away with.

Module 1: Strategy before typing — Content Marketing & Blogging

Module 1

Module 1: Strategy before typing

Most business blogs fail before the first post because nobody decided what the blog is for. This module locks in your audience, your goal, and your angle.

Module 2: Finding topics worth writing — Content Marketing & Blogging

Module 2

Module 2: Finding topics worth writing

Never stare at a blank page again. This module gives you four manual topic-research methods that produce a pipeline of ideas in one afternoon.

Module 3: Writing posts that rank and get read — Content Marketing & Blogging

Module 3

Module 3: Writing posts that rank and get read

Ranking gets the click; writing earns the customer. This module covers structure, headlines, and the on-page basics — all manual, all learnable.

Module 4: The editorial calendar habit — Content Marketing & Blogging

Module 4

Module 4: The editorial calendar habit

Consistency beats intensity. One post a week for a year beats ten posts in January and silence after. This module builds the system that keeps you publishing.

Module 5: Distribution — multiply every post — Content Marketing & Blogging

Module 5

Module 5: Distribution — multiply every post

"Publish and pray" doesn't work. Every post needs a distribution checklist: email, social, and repurposing into formats that travel further than the article alone.

Module 6: Measuring what works — Content Marketing & Blogging

Module 6

Module 6: Measuring what works

You can't improve what you don't measure. This module sets up the three numbers that matter for a business blog and shows you how to act on them.

Module 7: Promotion — outreach and partnerships — Content Marketing & Blogging

Module 7

Module 7: Promotion — outreach and partnerships

The final multiplier: getting other sites and people to amplify your best content. Manual outreach, done respectfully, still works.

Choose your track

Two ways through this course — pick the one that matches where you are.

Starter track

New to content marketing? Do Module 0, then Modules 1, 2, and 3. Module 1 writes your one-page strategy (without it, you’re blogging into the void), Module 2 fills your topic pipeline from real questions, and Module 3 teaches posts people actually finish. Publish three posts with that — then add Modules 4–7 (calendar, distribution, measurement, promotion) to turn posts into an engine.

Advanced track

Published before? Audit your archive against Module 6’s measurement lens first — most experienced bloggers are sitting on refresh opportunities worth more than new posts. Then go deep on Modules 5 and 7: distribution and outreach are where good content becomes a growth channel. Finish with the teardown, the glossary for precision, and the final exam to certify it.

Teardown: the blog that outranks everyone

Pick any competitive search — “best project management software,” “ how to fix a leaking tap” — and the top organic result is usually not the biggest brand. It’s a blog that’s been publishing genuinely useful content for years. Let’s dissect why one of these compounding machines wins, using this course’s toolkit.

The strategy is visible in the archive: every post serves the same reader and the same business goal. There are no random “company news” posts, no keyword-stuffed filler. Each article answers a question the ideal customer actually asked — the Module 2 discipline of writing from real questions, not from a keyword tool’s volume column. The topics cluster: ten posts on adjacent questions that interlink, building topical authority instead of scattered one-offs.

The writing respects the reader’s time. Introductions are two sentences, not six paragraphs of throat-clearing. Headers let skimmers extract the answer in thirty seconds; depth rewards the readers who stay. Every post ends with one clear next step — the Module 3 rule that a post without a job is just a diary entry. And the distribution is where amateurs lose: each post is repurposed into the newsletter, broken into social posts, pitched to two newsletters in the niche, and updated yearly. One post, five surfaces, compounding returns.

What’s invisible is the calendar habit from Module 4: a sustainable cadence — often just one quality post a week — maintained for years. The blogs that die publish twelve posts in January and none by March. The winners are boring about consistency and obsessive about usefulness.

What to steal: the one-reader-one-goal strategy, question-driven topics, skimmable structure with real depth, and the distribution checklist that multiplies every post. What to leave: the volume trap. You don’t need a hundred posts; you need twenty excellent ones that interlink, get updated, and get distributed. Content compounds — but only the content that exists.
