LinkedIn Personal Branding

Most LinkedIn profiles read like resumes nobody asked for, and most posts read like press releases. By the end of this course you'll have a profile that converts like a landing page, a repeatable post structure — Story, Lesson, Actionable advice, You — and a trust funnel that turns followers into clients without a single cold pitch.

Nobody is coming to discover you. On LinkedIn, the people who win aren't the most qualified — they're the most visible, the most consistent, and the most human. In six modules you'll go from an empty profile and posting anxiety to a personal brand that attracts the right people: the SLAY structure for every post, a profile rebuilt as a landing page, networking that feels like conversation, and a trust funnel that turns attention into income. Stop being the best-kept secret in your industry.

What you’ll learn

  • Write a LinkedIn post in under 30 minutes using the SLAY structure — Story, Lesson, Actionable advice, You
  • Rebuild your profile as a landing page: banner, headline, about, and featured sections that convert visitors into followers
  • Grow a real network through genuine engagement — comments and DMs that start conversations, never pitches
  • Run the Trust Funnel: content builds trust, trust starts conversations, conversations become clients — no cold outreach required

Is this for me?

Who is this course for?

Anyone with a skill, service, or business who suspects LinkedIn could be their best marketing channel — founders, freelancers, coaches, consultants, job-seekers, and employees building a name in their industry. If your customers or dream employers are on LinkedIn (they are), this is your course.

What do I need before starting?

A LinkedIn account and something you know about — your work, your mistakes, your lessons. You don't need followers, a fancy title, or permission. This course is about turning what you already know into a personal brand, one honest post at a time.

How long does it take?

Six modules, about 30–45 minutes each of learning. Most people finish in two weeks — but the real coursework is the 90 days after: three posts a week, five genuine comments a day, and a profile that keeps working while you sleep.

Module 0

Module 0: Start here

Why LinkedIn, why now: the platform opportunity for personal brands, why people follow people instead of companies, and the long-game mindset that separates the creators who last from the ones who quit in week three.

Module 1: Your Story Engine — LinkedIn Personal Branding

Module 1

Module 1: Your Story Engine

The SLAY structure — Story, Lesson, Actionable advice, You. Learn where stories come from, how to extract the lesson, how to make advice genuinely usable, and how to close every post by bringing the reader into the conversation.

Module 2: Profile as Landing Page — LinkedIn Personal Branding

Module 2

Module 2: Profile as Landing Page

Your profile is where every post sends people — stop wasting the visit. Rebuild it as a landing page: a banner that states your value, a headline that isn't your job title, an about section people actually read, and a featured section that sells.

Module 3: Content That Connects — LinkedIn Personal Branding

Module 3

Module 3: Content That Connects

Structure gets you read; connection gets you followed. Vulnerability with a purpose, writing to one specific person instead of "everyone," and a posting rhythm you can actually sustain without burning out.

Module 4: The Network Effect — LinkedIn Personal Branding

Module 4

Module 4: The Network Effect

Your posts are half the game — the other half is showing up in other people's conversations. Comments that get noticed, DMs that start relationships instead of pitches, and turning strangers into genuine connections.

Module 5: Monetize the Trust — LinkedIn Personal Branding

Module 5

Module 5: Monetize the Trust

Followers don't pay bills — clients do. The Trust Funnel that moves people from content to conversation to client, what to sell and when, and the inbound systems that make buying from you the obvious next step.

Choose your track

Not everyone needs the same path. Pick the one that fits where you are.

Explorer track

Modules 0–2: the opportunity, the SLAY structure, and the profile rebuild. Write your first five posts and fix your profile before you worry about networking or monetization — if your foundation isn't solid, nothing downstream converts.

Steady track

All modules in order, one per week. Three posts a week, five genuine comments a day, profile rebuilt by week two. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast — the creators who last a year lap the ones who sprint for a month.

Builder track

All modules, then straight to Module 5: define your one offer and your Trust Funnel in week one, then build the content engine that feeds it. For founders and freelancers who need clients, not just followers.

Teardown: one weak profile, one strong profile

The weak profile: headline "Marketing Manager at TechCorp," default blue banner, about section in third person ("John is a results-driven professional with 10 years of experience..."), empty featured section. A visitor learns a job title and nothing else. There is no reason to follow, no reason to message, no next step. The profile is a filing cabinet — accurate, and completely useless as marketing.

The strong profile: banner reading "I help B2B founders turn LinkedIn into inbound clients," headline "I help founders get clients from LinkedIn | 300+ founders coached | DM me 'START'," about section in first person telling the story of the problem, who it's for, and one clear next step, featured section with the best post, a booking link, and the newsletter. Same person, same career — but this profile is a landing page. Every section answers the visitor's only question: what's in it for me?

Run the Landing-Page Profile check on both. The weak profile fails every section: the banner says nothing, the headline is a job title, the about section is a resume paragraph, the featured section doesn't exist. The strong profile passes all four: value in the banner, value in the headline, story plus next step in about, proof plus paths to buy in featured. A visitor decides in seven seconds whether to follow — the strong profile earns the follow before they scroll.

What most people would get wrong: they'd polish the weak profile — a nicer headshot, a few more skills, endorsements from colleagues. None of that matters. The problem is positioning, not polish. This is Module 2's whole point: your profile isn't a resume, it's a conversion page, and every section has one job — turn a visitor into a follower, and a follower into a conversation.

The lesson: the same career, presented two ways, produces two different businesses. The weak profile waits to be discovered. The strong profile converts the attention your content earns. That's the Landing-Page Profile — and once you see your profile as a landing page, you'll never write "results-driven professional" again.
