The Viral Video System
Stop treating every video like a lottery ticket. By the end of this course you'll run each video through the same five checklists — plan, film, cut, post, review — so your quality stops depending on motivation and starts compounding like a system.

Posting when you feel like it isn't a strategy — it's a lottery ticket. The Publish Loop is the opposite: plan on a run-sheet, film on your phone, edit for retention, publish off a checklist, and run the 48-Hour Check on everything. Six modules turn content chaos into a system that compounds. Same effort, wildly different results.
What you’ll learn
- Run a weekly Publish Loop from idea bank to posted video without scrambling
- Plan with a run-sheet so filming day takes hours, not days
- Cut a retention edit that holds watch-through rate to the final frame
- Diagnose every post with the 48-Hour Check and feed the wins back into your format bank
Is this for me?
Who is this course for?
Creators who are already posting — or ready to start this week — and are tired of random results. If you're starting from absolute zero, do Viral Shorts first, then come back for the system.
What do I need before starting?
Basic filming and editing ability. You should already know how to shoot and cut a simple video on your phone. This course builds the Publish Loop around your videos; it doesn't teach you to film them.
How long does it take?
Six modules plus building your own run-sheet and idea bank as you go. Give it three weeks — the 48-Hour Check means you'll be diagnosing real posts by week two.
Module 0
Module 0: Start here
What this course is, how to use it, and what you'll walk away with. Ten minutes now saves hours later.

Module 1
Module 1: Think in Systems
Viral creators aren't more inspired than you — they're more systematic. This module installs the operating system the rest of the course runs on: a five-stage loop with a checklist at every gate.

Module 2
Module 2: Pre-Production — Plan Before You Film
Most bad videos are decided before the camera ever rolls. This module covers the Plan stage of the Publish Loop: capturing ideas systematically, writing the hook before anything else, and running a pre-shoot checklist so filming days never start from a blank page.

Module 3
Module 3: Filming — Get It Right on the Phone
You don't need a camera, a studio, or a crew. You need a repeatable setup and a run-sheet. This module covers the Film stage: the kit, the shot order, and how to walk away with usable takes in under an hour.

Module 4
Module 4: Editing — The Retention Edit
Editing is where watch time is won or lost. This module covers the Cut stage: the rough-cut pass that assembles your story, captions that hold sound-off viewers, and a final watch-through checklist that catches the flaws your tired eyes miss.

Module 5
Module 5: Posting — The Pre-Publish Checklist
The last ten minutes before posting decide the first hour of a video's life. This module covers the Post stage: captions that act as a second hook, sounds and hashtags that find your audience, covers that earn the click, and a posting rhythm you can keep.

Module 6
Module 6: Review — Read, Diagnose, Repeat
Posting without reviewing is practice without feedback. This module closes the Publish Loop: the 48-hour metrics check, diagnosing what the numbers are actually telling you, and the monthly format review that turns one-off wins into a repeatable system.
Choose your track
Not everyone needs the same path. Pick the one that fits where you are.
Starter track
Modules 0–2: the loop concept, planning, filming. Get the idea bank and run-sheet working before you worry about advanced editing. Then Module 5 (posting checklist) so your first loop completes. Save Modules 4 and 6 (retention edit, review) for loop two.
Advanced track
All modules in order, plus the teardown and the final exam. Run the full loop weekly for a month: the 48-hour reviews will teach you more than any lesson. Advanced is when the format bank starts filling itself.

Teardown: a creator's weekly posting system
Consider a mid-size business coach posting 5 shorts a week for 8 months straight — 160 videos, 40k followers gained, two clear format winners. Ask her secret and she'll say "consistency," which is true and useless. The useful version is her actual system, which maps perfectly onto the Publish Loop.
Plan (Module 2): Sunday evening, 45 minutes. She keeps an idea bank with four columns — Teach, Entertain, Prove, Invite — and pulls five ideas, one per column plus a wild card. Hooks are written before filming, not improvised: each idea gets its first line drafted in the bank. This is the "decide before the camera rolls" discipline that separates her from creators who "just film and see."
Film (Module 3): Tuesday morning, 90 minutes, same corner of her office, same window light. The run-sheet is taped to the wall: hook → 3 beats → close, with a reminder to shoot each beat twice. Batching five videos in one session means setup happens once — the unglamorous efficiency the module insists on.
Cut (Module 4): Wednesday, phone edits only. Her retention edit is ruthless about one thing: the first cut removes every breath pause and filler word, the second cut removes any sentence that doesn't earn its seconds. Average video length dropped from 52 to 31 seconds over the 8 months — and average watch-through went up.
Post (Module 5): weekdays at 7am and 12pm, captions from a template (promise line → context → one CTA), pinned comment with the "one thing to do next." The pre-publish checklist caught a missing-caption post in month 3 that would have tanked a video's first hour.
Review (Module 6): Friday, 20 minutes. The 48-hour check on each video: views, watch-through, follows, shares. Two formats — "myth vs. reality" and "client story in 30 seconds" — consistently outperformed. Month 5 onward, 3 of 5 weekly slots go to those formats. That's the loop compounding: the system doesn't just produce videos, it produces knowledge about which videos work.
The lesson: nothing here is talent. It's a calendar, a checklist, and a review habit. The system is the skill.
